RAGMAN - Mobile Application Design

The intention behind this project is to provide easy access to the people whenever they need rag pickers in & around the city. The application is also aimed to be simple straight forward consisting the vital information & features that will further motivate the users to empty the trashes & dispose of the wastes in the right manner.

The common key findings from the field research:

Before creating structure or layouts, firstly defined:

  • User goals: What are users trying to achieve?

  • Business goals: What actions do the business want users to take?

  • Content inventory: What types of content or features need to be included?

Transformed the wireframes into a high-fidelity, production-ready interface that not only looks appealing but also communicates function, guides user behaviour, and enhances usability.

Tone & Mood:
The UI conveys accessibility, user friendly, bold and immersive for target users.

Design choices include:

  • Clean, open layouts to reduce cognitive overload

  • High contrast for legibility and accessibility (AA/AAA standards)

  • Soft shadows and rounded corners for a modern, inviting aesthetic

  • Microinteractions (hover, click, transitions) to reinforce interactivity
